Might seem like a dumb question, but I'm new to how Opalstack does things. Do you need to create a specific domain to access the WP Admin login once you decide to take your site live?

Van no, your admin should be available at /wp-admin/ on whatever domain you have assigned to the site.

sean That's what I thought, but I thought I'd ask the question just to be sure. Thank you.

qu4nt It's not possible to use the server hostname to access your apps on our platform. By default, each Opalstack account comes with a subdomain like <username>.opalstacked.com (where <username> is your account's username), so you can use that instead of an actual domain. You will need to ensure that the subdomain is properly assigned to the site that you want to access, as per our documentation here.

peter Thanks Peter. In that case <username> could be also the shell user?

        thanks in advance!

qu4nt No, your opalstack.com subdomain is only for your account name. If you'd like you can create a sub-subdomain of that, like shelluser.account.opalstacked.com, and then assign that subdomain to the site that you're going to use to access the app.
