(b) Android ?
(c) Windows ?

Is it so that to install a required Python
version to edge devices, one also
may have to install C compiler / C SDK ?
and thereby a new OS / new OS version ?
and thereby even a new PC/Laptop/Notepad
/Android device ?

Is it possible to keep Python 3.3 in

for Opalstack Python Library JSON API

The Opalstack API wrapper library is compatible with Python version 3.6 and higher.
The library will work on any OS that can run Python 3.6 or higher.
If a Python 3.6+ installer isn't available for one of your edge devices then you'd need to build it from source, which would require a functioning build environment. If your OS is too old for the build environment then you'll need to upgrade your OS. If your hardware is too old to upgrade the OS then you'll need to upgrade your hardware.
The Opalstack API library is not compatible with Python 3.3 nor with any other Python version lower than 3.6.
Python 3.6 is already installed on all Opalstack servers. If you want the library to be installed globally on your VPS then please email your request to Opalstack's support team.
