Hello, I want to overwrite a fresh MariaDB (in a fresh WP install on Opalstack) with an old .sql DB I am bringing over from a previous WordPress site. There is no phpMyAdmin on Opalstack, correct? So I am at a loss as to how to do this on Opalstack. Please advise!

Instructions for importing a SQL file into a MariaDB database via the command line are available in our user guide: Importing MariaDB Databases

If you prefer to use a web GUI then click the admin icon (a briefcase) for your database in the DB list in the top half of https://my.opalstack.com/mariadb/.

Thank you for your reply Sean. A few questions please:
In migration of this website database to replace the one on the new WordPress install:

The old site is no longer live, however I have the .sql file and all the WP Content files,
including the wp-config file. I do NOT have the old htaccess file.

The .sql file was generated with WP Migrate DB, so it contains destination urls that are no good,
they were for a server from long ago. And this will become a staging site using a dummy domain name,
already established in Opalstack. So the old domain name coded into the .sql file is incorrect.

I have copied over all WP Content, Themes, Plugins, Uploads into the new OS install. I have not
copied the old wp-config file over yet.

What are suggestions for next steps?
• Upload the .sql file as-is and then do a search & replace in the OS web GUI for the incorrect URLs?
• First manually edit the .sql file correcting the URLs on my local machine before uploading?
• Replace the wp-config file last?
• Not sure what to do about the htaccess file?

I'd recommend:

Doing a search replace on the sql file locally (make a backup of the SQL file before editing it), before uploading and importing it to the server
You can upload the wp-config.php file at any time, update it to make sure it's database connection details are correct so it can talk to the database when it's ready.
For the .htaccess file; you may create a new one using the base WP example found here as a starter, https://wordpress.org/support/article/htaccess/#basic-wp
