Email blocked by gmail - 550 5.7.1

Hi Opalstack Team,

I just sent an email to a user whose email hosting is managed by Google, I'm guessing, and got the following error message:

Action: failed
Status: 5.7.1
Remote-MTA: dns; aspmx.l.google.com
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550-5.7.1 [23.106.47.103      12] Our system has
    detected that this message is 550-5.7.1 likely unsolicited mail. To reduce
    the amount of spam sent to Gmail, 550-5.7.1 this message has been blocked.

Based on other forum posts, it seems like this is something you've deal with in the past by contacting the hosting companies. Is this a known issue with gmail at the moment?

lsouzek we've had several customers report similar issues over the past couple of years but for the most part most of our customers don't have any issues sending email to Gmail or to Google-hosted domains.

I'm experiencing issues sending to Gmail addresses at the moment too. Have sent a message to support.

newstaircase there are no general issues with Gmail at this time. I'll follow up on your ticket as soon as possible.
