forward and delete emails

I have forward enabled for one of my mailboxes which is fine and works... BUT it keeps a copy of the emails. How does one enable forwarding and then deletion of incoming emails? This email account is not publicized and it should be receiving minimal email and there is no reason to keep emails after they have been forwarded.

bici add a procmail rule to the mailbox like this:

:0:
* 
/dev/null

This will cause all mail that arrives in the attached mailbox to be deleted.
