Hard to get /home/vpsuser listing from opalstack server to filezilla

Why is it currently so hard to get
/home/vpsuser listing from opalstack server
to filezilla client ?

Good:
(1) download speed is good
(2) upload speed is good
(3) all ftp php web pages work fast
(4) filezilla able get connection quickly

Problems:
(5) takes too many trials to get the
main directory /home/vpsuser
listing from the opalstack server
ex: over 4 times for over 80% of
16 vps users
(6) unable to sftp upload to
/home/vpsuser/app
(7) unable to download from
/home/vpsuser/temp

where vpsuser is one of our 16
vpsusers, for example science

Notes
(8) directory list for directory /home/vpsuser
is very short - so why this problem ?
(9) something has changed, what ?
(a) slower server platform ?
(b) slower transatlantic transfer speed ?
(10) sftp jobs do get done
(11) takes more time to get sftp jobs done

dragonxi Nothing's changed on your VPS and there are no load issues or other performance issues on your VPS.

I suspect the issue your seeing is some sort of network problem between you and the server.

If you're working primarily from Europe and would like us relocate your VPS to the EU to get better file transfer performance then please email support @ opalstack.com to request that.

Thanks analyzing this! San Francisco is OK. FTP transfer speed from/to is excellent. Filezilla clients get connected fast. It was just that filezilla client sometimes did not get the main directory list it retrieves but user had to retry to get the short directory list.
In any case this is not any bad problem and
most propably just due to network as you saud.
Fast & good customer service again !
