Auto-start daemon?

Webfaction refugee here - they're going to start migrations soon and I found OpalStack as a WF alternative, so I'm checking it out to hopefully make a more permanent move and cancel my migration and account with WF.

My main question is that imap2script per the example requires using daemonize to run it in the background. I have no problems with this - but was wondering is there away to manage it such that it auto-starts if the server is ever rebooted? I can't seem to find any help about it and I know I can do it manually if the system is restarted (hopefully infrequently), but it's nicer to have things automated.

Is there a way I can have it start automatically?

Worf you can create a cron job to run the command after a reboot, eg:

SSH to the shell user that's running the script.
Run crontab -e to edit your cron jobs.
Press 'i' to put the editor in insert mode

Enter a line like to following:

@reboot /usr/local/bin/imap2script --config ~/path/to/config.json

Press ESC and then ZZ to save your changes and quit the editor.
