New user here.... when I tried to enter the name server info in DNS Records (i.e. ns1.de.opalstack.com), I get this message: "Enter a valid IPv4 address." Same thing if I choose IPv6. What am I doing wrong?

    cbiweb If you are trying to set the NS for your domain you need to do that via your domain registrar, not via the DNS records in your Opalstack dashboard. Please see this article for details:

    After you've done that, we'll generate A and MX records for your domains automatically, and you can create other DNS records manually via the dashboard.

        sean Thank you. 🙂 It's been quite a few years since I've had to change hosting and all that goes with it. A bit rusty in that department.

          sean Okay, I've changed the NS with my registrar. What's the average time it takes for them to take effect?

              cbiweb it depends on the "TTL" setting that your registrar has on your NS records, but typically anywhere from a few minutes to a day or so.
