I migrated my domain from Webfaction (WF) to Opalstack (OS) just managing name servers on my registrar. Then I wiped out all domains and applications from WF, moving them to OS. On WF I had the automatic Let's Encrypt (LE) certificate renewal, and so I've done here at OS. Everything worked fine, I had my https://example.com hosted at OS! Days ago WF sent me the following notice:
"...We've noticed that your set-up for www.example.com/example.com is blocking HTTP challenges
and/or your certificate is for one or more domains that are not hosted
at WebFaction. This will stop automatic renewal of your Let's Encrypt
certificate from working, when the time comes..."
I did nothing, thinking that the next renewal would have been handled by OS. Unfortunately since this evening the website throws an internal server error. Should I go for a new certificate or just wait for some strange DNS propagation?
It's just a staging website, so I'm not in a hurry, but I have more domains with LE certificates to move from WF to OS, so what is the best procedure to avoid these ugly white screens?
