Renaming apps and site routes?

Is it possible? I would like to rename websites after migration from WF.

On Opalstack you can rename site routes, but you cannot rename apps.

Could I put in a feature request for renaming apps?

Especially, where apps have been developed over long period, it would be good to be able to regularise and neaten up naming. (Migrating from WF at present and have learnt much about keeping things neat since the earliest sites developed!)

tcw Renaming an app is not as simple as it sounds, especially for things like Django and Rails which have settings with a lot of hardcoded paths. It's unlikely that we'll implement anything that will make it easier for customers to break stuff.

If you want to redeploy an app under a different name:

Create the new app with the name you want.
Copy all of the files from the old app into the new app.
Edit your app config to adjust whatever paths need to be fixed.
Edit your site in the dashboard to flip it over to the new app.
