Now that I have got access to github codespaces even with private repos, I can code on any machine like a Chromebook. But is there some way to send the repo to an app on my opalstack a/c's app like a laravel app or re-run the server like for example a nextJS one from my browser-based codespaces editor ?

anjanesh if you mean that you want to run some kind of action on your Opalstack server whenever you commit to your Github repo then you can do that with a Github webhook.

The basic steps are:

Create a shell script on your server to do whatever it is you need to do (eg pull from a repo, restart an app, etc).
Create a URL on your site that runs the script when Github POSTs to it. This can be something baked into your app or it can be on a separate site running as the same shell user.
Configure the webhook at Github to POST to the URL.

Wow ! I didnt' know about GitHub webhooks - this should work I believe. Thanks.
I was googling for a solution like the way DigitalOcean App Platform does - each time a push is made to the main branch, the pull is pushed to the DO app automatically and perhaps restarted.

It would be so cool if there was a nice solution to this integrated into the Opalstack management UI. Creating a webhook and managing scripts for every app instance I manage (or at the very least, every shell user) is not the greatest.
