SPF(TXT) Question...

Hello,

Successfully set up the Configure SMTP plugin on a WordPress installation but the test email I'm receiving at my Gmail account says:

Gmail couldn't verify that... ...actually sent this message (and not a spammer)

The domain name is with Ionos and the site hosted at Opalstack.

Found a post on this forum referencing:

v=spf1 include:spf.opalstack.com ~all

Is this the correct value to use?

It wasn't clear to me if this SPF value needs to be configured at the domain provider ( IONOS ) or configured at Opalstack.

orbital that's the correct value, but I really recommend searching our documentation before searching in the forum: SPF records for Opalstack email

The DNS record must be created where your DNS records are managed, ie if your domain uses Opalstack name servers then you must create the record here. If you're using IONOS name servers then you'll need to do it there.
