SMTP Error (553): Failed to add recipient - Sender address rejected: not owned by user.

My client received this message while setting up her email on her computer. It appears for some of her email addresses, and not for others? Why is this happening? Any suggestions? Thanks.

danunder it means that the sender address that she's using isn't one owned by the Opalstack hosting account that hosts her mailbox.

First thing I would check is to look for typos in the sender address in her mail client settings.

If that seems correct then feel free to contact support @ opalstack.com to let us know the sender address and mailbox and we'll have a look.
