BIMI - does Opastack support it ?

dragonxi sure, BIMI is mostly just DNS and we give you full control of your DNS records. If you want to set up a BIMI logo in DNS for your domain you can do that.

Here are the steps using mydomain.com as an example:

Add the following domains to your account at https://my.opalstack.com/domains/:
- mydomain.com
- _dmarc.mydomain.com
- default._bimi.mydomain.com
Create the email addresses for your domain, including an address to receive DMARC reports which will be used in the DMARC txt record below, at https://my.opalstack.com/mail/.
Create your BIMI logo file and upload it to a site. The URL of the logo will be used in the BIMI txt record below.
Create the following DNS TXT records by using the edit icon for your domains at at https://my.opalstack.com/domains/.
- SPF: mydomain.com TXT v=spf1 include:spf.opalstack.com ~all
- DMARC: _dmarc.mydomain.com TXT v=DMARC1; p=reject; rua=dmarc@mydomain.com
- BIMI: default._bimi.mydomain.com TXT v=BIMI1; l=http://www.mydomain.com/logo.svg
Use the BIMI Inspector to verify that everything is set up correctly.

Does the logo have to be SVG ?
or
can we use
.png ?
.jpg ?

There seems to be different opinions
about this - therefore your experience
would be valuable.

Although SVG is standard and should work
we have found with browsers that standards
.png and .jpg work better.

And if a client opens email with a browser
then .png and .jpg would most likely work.
