  • How to delete an application - new GUI July 5

Deleting an app works almost exactly as it did on the old dashboard. The only differences are:

  • There's no 24-hour "delete queue" any more.
  • You don't have to type "I confirm" every time you delete something.

To delete an app (or any other item in the dashboard):

  1. Click the checkbox next to the item on the item list. The delete button will appear above the list.
  2. Click the delete button after it appears above the list. A confirmation dialog will appear.
  3. Click the delete button in the confirmation dialog to complete the action.

If for some reason you're not able to see the checkboxes to select the app then please email a screenshot of what you are seeing to support@opalstack.com. Thanks!

I think this is a necessity - otherwise it's as dangerous as doing rm -rf *

anjanesh we didn't abandon confirmation entirely.

As I noted in the steps I provided, there's a secondary confirmation prompt that you must acknowledge before the items are deleted, and the prompt includes a list of the items being deleted.
