(a) + opalstack support rocked, thanks guys !
(b) + opalstack platform performed OK
(c) * email settings started to introduce challenges, help us !
with over 200 mail users
and over 200 mail addresses
i.e. once the number of object reaches certain limit
it becomes almost impossible to use GUI
if the server does not sort objects
(d) the same is true will all objects
and filtering objects such as domains starting with www.
would also help picking the right one
(e) search feature is very good for all objects, well done guys !
- actually it is so good that it could be used to pick an object
instead of having the server produce a long unsorted list for user
to try to find the right one!
(1) adding New Email Address
ref: >> https://my.opalstack.com/mail/new/
- difficult to pick the right Mail User among over 200 unsorted ones
(a) SORT IT ! i.e. change the server software to list Mail Users sorted alphabetically
(b) allow manual setting first and then let the server check it
(c) send us Python example how to add a Mail User and a Emaill Address
(2) Searching Email Address
ref: >> https://my.opalstack.com/mail/ <-- Search Email Address
- the server lists also the Forwards ones
- with most email addresses being forwarded the list gets long
(to minimize the risk loosing emails)
(a) SORT IT ! i.e. change the server software to list Mail Addresses alphabetically
(b) send us Python example how to list only the primary email address
i.e. not the ones used to forward
(3) Configuring emails using Thunderbird client
(a) mail.us.opalstack.com <-- avg 8-12 sec response OK / sometimes no response at all which is not OK !
(b) mail.de.opalstack.com <-- avg 8-12 sec response OK / sometimes no response at all which is not OK !
(a) send us Python example how to add a Mail User and a Email Address
(b) .app example with mail.us.opalstack.com
- easy to modidy .dev/_dev or mail.de.opalstack.com
DUMMYUSER@dummydomain.app <-- Your name
firstname.lastname@example.org <-- Email address
dummypassword <-- Password
