anjanesh if there's enough demand for a S3-compatible data store then we'll certainly consider it.
In the meantime, if you want to run your own S3 storage you can run an instance of Minio, eg:
- Create a new proxy port app and make a note of the port assignment.
- Attach the app to a site.
- SSH to the app's shell user and run the following commands:
# replace appname with your app name from step 1 above
cd ~/apps/appname
mkdir data
wget https://dl.min.io/server/minio/release/linux-amd64/minio
chmod +x minio
# replace "admin" and "password" with the admin user/pass that you want to use
export MINIO_ROOT_USER=admin
export MINIO_ROOT_PASSWORD=password
# replace NNNNN with your port assignment from step 1 above
./minio server --address 127.0.0.1:NNNNN $PWD/data
You'll then have your own S3 compatible storage running on the URL of the site you configured in step 2 above.
