kevin no, this is only regarding static sites. Django manages its own error templates.

Tomorrow I'm going to turn off Domain/OldApp and point it to Domain/NewApp.
My plan is stop the Django OldApp, change the settings at my.opalstack.com/domains/ and then wait for the new site to start showing up for folks. It'd be nice if I could put up a custom 500 page for however many seconds the site will be down.

leehinde you can run a private Nginx as an intermediate proxy between our frontend and your Django app, with whatever Nginx configuration you want for your error pages. Note the documented setup for that is for PHP apps - you'll need to modify the Nginx config to proxy to your Django app's port instead of the PHP-FPM socket.
