  • 502 Bad Gateway on Django app

I am also receiving some appearingly random 502's on opal5 php apps. There is sufficient uptime to be operational, but it is starting to get annoying to see them appear every once in a while. Any pointers? Maybe max users/connection configuration? P.s. my comment also @sean

luke 502 for a Django app usually means it's not running or it's running but not listening on its assigned port.

merten what type of PHP app, FPM+Nginx or PHP+Apache?

merten ok we're working on improving the PHP+Apache stack.

In the interim if the 502s are an ongoing problem for your site then email support and we can help you either switch your app to our Nginx+FPM stack or set up a private backend Apache+FPM stack.

merten This isn't just you. I happened to also contact support about this a couple of days ago, as my uptime checking script was beginning to return a bunch of 502s every day. Hopefully something that'll be resolved promptly.
