502 Bad Gateway in Opal6

I am getting 502 Bad Gateway in Opal6. Is this global? My customers are also reporting the problem... Thanks

I can confirm my sites on Opal6 are also down with 502s. A little disappointing to see this, also that the Status page doesn't reflect it: https://status.opalstack.com/

Hope this can be sorted soon!

pjrobertson yeah same here, worst thing is that how you mentioned it is not reflected on status page! So bad. I just start to migrate from Webfaction and this is new experience for me. Webfaction was solid stable from my point of view.

Same for us... looks like the static sites are online, but PHP ones are down.

erodri Right, uwsgi/Django and static files apps are working, just PHP is down. I submitted a ticket.

Same here! Seems to be happening to my WP and Apache/PHP sites only. Not the nginx/PHP-FPM ones ... @sean are you guys aware of this?

Same here! The site (with paid campaign active) is down (502 Bad Gateway) and Opal Stack support is not responding.
Very disappointing.
We are new Opal stack customers (switched from WebFaction), but definitely, we will consider changing the hosting provider after this.

According to the logs the issue seems related to the shared Apache instance, spawning too many processes.

@sean, @klynton, or any other admin from opalstack can you look at what is happening to opal6's apache+php apps? Probably, you have more than one contact ticked too

Yes, we're on opal6, all Apache services down for nearly 3 hours

I don't know how many Webfaction has location servers?

Opalstack has 9 location servers.

The Opalstack is Linode hosting provider.

mikey3d opla6 is DE location, server is working (ssh, php+fpm+nginx, static sites), however Apache+PHP applications do not work. So, it's not an issue with Linode. It's something related to the Apache instance on this server as mentioned by @dolomiti.
