SSH Connection Refused

I have an email into support, but in case someone else might be able to help. I was in the middle of setting up a private database when I got kicked out of opalstack and now I can't ssh back in at all.

me: ssh me@myserver.opalstack.com
ssh: connect to host myserver.opalstack.com port 22: Connection refused

And, I just got back in.... Hopefully support can tell me why I got kicked so I don't do it again.

I just hit similar and wished the cause was answered in here.

vanderwal if you have repeated SSH/SFTP login failures or abusive HTTP traffic from your IP address then your IP address is banned automatically for an hour. When that happens, contact support for assistance.

sean SSH works fine and able to get some things done. SFTP gets an immediate ban with one attempt, which is really frustrating.

sean Everything is moved, including all the email accounts, sites, and a WP instance.

Thank you for all the help.

The toughest bits were the mental model of apps, DNS, and the relation to site route. Site route is insanely helpful, but took a bit to understand.

I'm loving the ease of setting up Let's encrypt and not having to worry about it.
