Enable external access on MariaDB database

Yesterday, I sent an email to Support requesting external access to two of our databases. One of them is quite urgent. I hope to get an answer today. But reading this article, it looks like this this is something that I can enable by myself: https://help.opalstack.com/article/16/connecting-to-mariadb-databases
Is this possible via the control panel?

If you go to 'Add Database' in the Databases section, you'll find the switch for external access there. I'm not sure if you're able to make changes to the switch after the database has already been created. Couldn't find it in the panel.

Thank you for the reply. Good to know for new databases. But as you say, apparently there is no way of editing this option on existing data bases. And the problem is that this database was migrated and the migration tool did not include this option. And it is a production site. I hope the support team of Opalstack will be able to change it for me. Thanks.

elena Yes, we can change it for you if you didn't enable it when you created the user.

We're adding better DB user management to the dashboard soon and this will be part of that.

We're also looking into the possibility of migrating external DB users from WF with the migration tool.
