An hour ago google analytics asked me to add a TXT DNS record to verify my account . I went to the Opal Admin panel and I added a TXT record, simple enough. But I then I wanted to see if indeed the TXT google record was added. When I tried view the DNS records I don't see any details about TXT records nor CNAME or MX etc. How can I verify that the goofle TXT records was added? And is the opal default TXT record is still there? Curious as a cat.

Use a tool like dig,
dig txt example.com

or you can check if a given ns server is being used for the domain, make sure its ours,
dig ns example.com

Lastly you can check our ns servers to make sure the setting stuck there, DNS is a global system where they cache eachother's data,
dig @ns1.us.opalstack.com txt example.com
