OpenClaw Control UI Authentication

Hey OpalStack team,

I got really excited when I read the last blog post on OpenClaw. I wanted to thank you for the great service you're offering. Thank you. I'm thrilled to be an OpalStack user since it opened the door.

Now, I want to ask if there is a recommended authentication method for the gateway's control UI. Would Cloudflare's Zero Trust Access do?

If there is something better suited for the use case, I'd love to know.

fmquaglia our installer sets up token authentication by default (see the README in the app directory) but you're free to try to use any auth method that OpenClaw supports.

Well, I tried it, and so far it is working well.
You still need to use your token and approve the device (IP) via the CLI, but once done, the CF zero-trust access didn't get in the way, and it worked the same as using the control plane in localhost via the SSH tunnel.
One extra layer of protection, and the convenience of not having to leave the tunnel on.
Still not 100% what I wanted but closer.
