Forwarding specific emails

I have my own email address through my Opalstack-hosted domain and would like to automatically forward specific emails that I receive a reading tool I use called Matter. The reading tool gives me a unique, user-specific email address to which I can forward content.

Of course, I don't want all my email to go to the reading tool, just newsletters, for example.

Can someone point me in the right direction for doing this? Thanks!

Hello Robert,

What you will want to do here is setup a redirect using procmail rules on the mailbox that will forward messages to your Matter specific email address. The general docs can be found here. But an example of what you might use may look like this:

# forward by sender address
:0
* ^From:.*sender@example\.com
! forwardto@example.com

# forward by email subject
:0
* ^Subject:.*Example Subject
! forwardto@example.com
