Can you elaborate the situation off affiliates program? Here (https://www.opalstack.com/affiliates.html) are still links to linkmink.com, which obviously doesn't work anymore. I've had email about Opalstack looking for a new affiliate partner or building something of your own, just looking for update of the situation.

Also: are our affi-links still working and generating revenue?

Fjordis I just noticed that https://app.linkmink.com is no longer responding so at this time your referrals are not generating revenue.

We're still researching new partners and had no warning that LinkMink would be going dark, but considering they've not responded to our emails in months I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

We'll accelerate the search for our new affiliate program partner and I'll send an email to all of our affiliates to get them up to speed.

I just logged into the new affiliates app https://affiliates.opalstack.com, it seems nice so far.

Will our old affiliate links work? For example, https://www.opalstack.com/?lmref=XXXXXX

The new affiliate app shows this on the Dashboard:

https://my.opalstack.com/signup/?via=XXXXXX
👉 Link to any page on my.opalstack.com by adding ?via=XXXXXX to the end of the URL.

This has both a different query param, and implies that it will only work on my.opalstack.com. It would be convenient if the old query param continued working, so I don't have to update all my apps. And it's essential that we can create affiliate links to the main Opalstack site.

chad Yes, as mentioned in the email that we sent out the old URLs still work.

For me it possible to update afflinks but there must be possibility to link to opalstack.com, not only to my.opalstack.com as it's quite a feat to direct somebody directly sign up site without them knowing anything about the service provider or what they can offer.

Could you add link support to opalstack.com main-site as well?

Fjordis I've opened an internal ticket to have this implemented. We'll update the affiliate program documentation when it's done.

I have two emails, "Affiliate program changes" on 8/27 and "Affiliate payout status" on 9/16, and neither mentions anything about URLs. Was there another one that I missed?

And based on your two replies, www.opalstack.com?lmref=x links are currently working, but www.opalstack.com?via=x are not (yet). Is that correct?

Apologies, I was mistaken about the content of the emails.

No, at this time the only working links are for my.opalstack.com/signup, not www.opalstack.com. You can use the lmref parameter if you need to but we recommend using the via parameter instead.
