peter mattez The upgrade on Opal6 took longer than expected, but it's done now and PostgreSQL is back online. Apologies for the trouble!
josearr All my data from my postgres DB in opal6 is gone after the upgrade. Tables are there, data isn't. Please, help.
peter josearr We are looking into it. Please contact our support team directly at support@opalstack.com and we'll get back to you ASAP.
mattez peter it is not only problem of josearr same fo us and others. Missing data, missing databases, the mess.
josearr mattez I just hope they can restore any backup or something. This hour waiting is being one of my worst hours ever.
peter Please accept our apologies for the trouble everyone! Our sysadmins are currently working to resolve these issues ASAP.
peter @josearr @mattez Everything should be working fine for you again. Our sysadmins decided to revert the changes and switch back to PostgreSQL v11 on Opal6 for now.
mattez We request that you notify us by email before your next attempt at goodness comes in the form of a PostgreSQL update.
adebarros Thanks for these upgrades! I can now move on to the latest Django. Purely out of curiosity, why did Opalstack move to version 14 of Postgres rather than the newest, v 16? It doesn't affect me, I'm just curious engineering-wise.
