MariaDB InnoDB with data at rest encryption

Does anyone know if it is possible to setup a MariaDB database with with innoDB Data-at-Rest Encryption?
I am a European user and I think, I am not sure, that is necessary to encrypt the privacy sensitive data. One of the possibilities is an innoDB with Data-at-Rest Encryption. Can anyone help me a bit further? Thanks.

paulbq I think this should be possible. You would need to setup a private MariaDB instance to do it, however. See: https://community.opalstack.com/d/91-howto-install-and-run-a-private-mariadb-server-instance-on-opalstack

That will give you root access to a database server for you to proceed. Maybe the official docs will offer what needs to be done next, though it looks like some familiarity with MariaDB will be needed, https://mariadb.com/kb/en/encryption-data-at-rest-encryption/
