Which resources may stop working if a domain registrar changes ?

by Opalstack might get offline, stop
working, if a domain registrar would
make mistakes or mislead to move
to untested platform ?

web pages ?
SSL certificates ?
emails ?
nameservers ?
something else ?

Is it so that our PHP-FPM proccesses
would keep on running ?

Would the above resources start
automatically once the new domain
registrar get its problems solved ?

Even if the move to a new domain
registrar would go smootly, is
it so that we needed to tune

dragonxi If your domains are already configured to use Opalstack name servers, transferring from your current registrar to a new one wouldn't pose any risk. As a general rule, receiving registrars will preserve the existing name servers during a domain transfer process, so you won't need to manually set the name servers for each domain after the transfer completes. For extra safety, you may want to contact the specific receiving registrar of your choice and ask them to confirm this before initiating the domain transfer process.

It means that your domain and related metadata are stored at the new registrar and that the new registrar is responsible for publishing your NS info to the top level servers for your domain's TLD.

I wouldn't say that "the databases is moved" is an accurate way to describe it, it's more like "the information about your domain is moved from the database of registrar Z into the database of registrar Y".

My guess is because brand Z wants to make more money.

If you have a complaint about your domain registrar then you should bring it to their attention or discuss it in their own forum as it is unrelated to Opalstack. You might get better insights into whatever your complaint is from other customers who are using your registrar.

If you are not satisfied with your registrar's response to the issue and believe that they are doing something that might violate the previously-linked accreditation agreement then feel free to report them to ICANN. The following links might be helpful:

programmers outside USA and a "new"
team with the same "can't fix the bug"
answer wouldn't be money well spent.

via email and in this forum
equals to me money well spent.
