Putting a apache or nginx in front of an app listening to a local port?

I'm one of those webfaction refugees, and I just successfully installed my very old zope2 stuff as a 'proxy port' application, which is great. At webfaction, I used a 'nginx_passenger' app to put a real webserver in front of my zope2 instances which are listening to local ports, via proxy_pass directives. How could I do this at Opalstack?

To get an Nginx running in front of it, you can create a second proxy port app and then spin up an Nginx server listening on that port. We'll have some Nginx setup instructions posted soon.

And then, I make the second proxy port app with nginx listen to ports 80/443, add a 'site route' to the app, and it just works?

No, you can't make your private backend Nginx listen on 80/443. Those ports are used by our frontend Nginx.

All you need to do is add your backend Nginx to your site config, listening on its assigned port. Our frontend will accept requests on 80/443 and proxy them to your Nginx.
