ASP.NET Core? Kestrel?

I haven't worked in .NET but a friend who would like me to collaborate with him does, so it got me wondering where I'd host a project if we built one. I love Opalstack so it's my first thought, but there's no mention of it in any of the docs or community posts, so I'm guessing that's not really supported. Thought I should ask here though, just in case. Is it possible? I see in the .net docs that it can run with Apache or Nginx these days, but I certainly don't understand what other dependencies are beneath the surface.

On the MSFT support pages, I see "The latest stable .NET runtime installed on the server" is a requirement, but I don't know if OpalStack is running that.

diginized We don't have official support for .NET but you should be able to install and run .NET apps with the following steps:

Install the .NET SDK in your shell user home directory:

cd ~
wget https://download.visualstudio.microsoft.com/download/pr/351400ef-f2e6-4ee7-9d1b-4c246231a065/9f7826270fb36ada1bdb9e14bc8b5123/dotnet-sdk-7.0.302-linux-x64.tar.gz
mkdir -p $HOME/dotnet
tar zxf dotnet-sdk-7.0.302-linux-x64.tar.gz -C $HOME/dotnet
export DOTNET_ROOT=$HOME/dotnet
export PATH=$PATH:$HOME/dotnet

Create a new "Nginx Proxy Port" app at https://my.opalstack.com/apps/ and make a note of the app's port assignment.
Create a new site at https://my.opalstack.com/domains/ to serve the app you created in step 2.
Configure your .NET application to listen on the port assignment for the app you created in step 2.
Run the app using the ~/dotnet/dotnet binary you installed in step 1.
