Hi all! We've been talking about Mastodon for a couple of weeks now. Today, I'm happy to announce that Mastodon is now available as an installable app in your Opalstack dashboard so that you can run your own Mastodon instance on Opalstack!
The full announcement is in our blog: Mastodon hosting is here! 🎉

Add a new Mastodon application.
Route the app to a site.
Log into SSH as your app's shell user.
Follow the steps in the post-install README to complete the setup. Those steps will also be available in README
file in your app directory. These steps include configuring a SMTP account, the following instructions may be useful:
If you don't want to run your own Mastodon instance we've got that covered as well! Head on over to https://opalstack.social/ and open an account there.
Either way, you'll be ready to go forth and toot! Hope to see you out there 🙂
