Trying to set up Rsync cron job but public/private key not working

I have created private/public keys as explained in this page. Everything gets generated fine and the public key is in the authorized_keys file on the remote server. But when I try to connect to the remote server, it still asks for the password. I have several webfaction accounts and this always works with them but I vaguely remember that there was something that had to be fixed to get this to work (but that was several years ago!) Thank you for your help :-)

Hey Mike,

This is usually a permissions problem. Can you run these commands?

chmod 600 ~/.ssh/authorized_keys
chmod 700 ~/.ssh
chmod go-w $HOME

That did the trick, my authorized_keys permission was set to 664! Thanks for your help!
